I’m not a huge blogger – obviously my updates on here are sporadic at best and I follow a few blogs on google reader. My friend Carrie told me about this blog – http://simplemom.net/ and it happens to be the only non-friend or family blog I subscribe to! I never knew I was married to such a handy man!

I have to take a second to brag about my manly do-it-yourselfer husband. First off, just before the New Year he replaced the fan in our broken fridge all by himself. Luckily the temperature outside was perfect for using the back porch as a temporary fridge. One bonus to this unexpected problem was that I was forced to clean my fridge! It’s all shiny and new looking now :)

Ben gave me a surprise New Years present this year – a puzzle board!! He wasn’t even expecting to do it, but he had the idea on Friday and after some online window shopping, decided to try to make one himself. He went to Home Depot, and after an hour or so of work, ta da! We now have a beautiful home made puzzle board! Thanks honey!
