That Didn't Take Long

We signed the cancellation papers for the 1947 house 2 days ago, and yesterday we looked at a house and had the agent call in an offer while we were standing in the kitchen! It’s almost EXACTLY what we want. It was built in 1998, it has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. All the common areas are large enough, and very nicely finished with new carpet, tile and paint. Unlike the last house, we won’t have to worry about old-house problems, and the closets are large enough. It’s on .24 acres, with a large patio in back. We even know people in the ward – Sarah, Ben’s sister’s best friend, lives there. On the outside, it looks like a “fancy garage” – a type of house I swore I would never buy. But after looking around for 4 months, and especially after last week’s experience, there are much more important things than the location of the garage. We should hear back from the sellers today – wish us luck!
